Meet Mai Dao Vang
Hi, I’m Mai Dao Vang—a licensed Permanent Makeup and Fine Line Tattoo Artist based in Oakdale, Minnesota. My love for all things beauty started early. From experimenting with makeup as a kid to eventually stepping into the professional world of permanent cosmetics, this path has always felt like home to me.
In 2019, everything shifted when I got my brows tattooed for the first time. That one appointment sparked a realization: this is what I was meant to do. Despite the fear of failure and judgment, I chose to take the leap—leaving behind a full-time job to pursue my passion. It was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Since then, my journey has only deepened. I expanded into Fine Line Tattoos in early 2021, fell in love with the precision and softness of the art, and trained in Arizona in 2023 to refine my skills even further. By 2024, I added permanent eyeliner services to my offerings, continuing to grow in both passion and purpose.
Today, I’m proud to create work that helps people feel more confident in their own skin. Whether it’s a delicate tattoo or the perfect set of brows, I pour my heart into every detail. Ombre | $650
“Wake up and go”
Ombre uses a different technique to create a powdery makeup look. Brows will look softer at the front of the brow and going darker towards the tail creating a bold or softly filled in brows depending on your preference. This is ideal for someone who wants to wake up and go and not have to worry about not having to fill in their brows. This style is suitable for all skin types.
Initial session only, touch up is not included.

Nano Combo | $750
“Wake up and go”
Nano Combo consists of strokes in the front and shading for the rest of the brows, blending seamlessly. Similar to Microshading, strokes are created with a tattoo gun. Because of the technique, the retention is better and less abrasive to the skin. This is ideal for someone who wants it still natural, but also always looks clean and fresh. This style is suitable for all skin types.

Brow Perfecting Sessions
“Stay fresh”
We only offer perfecting sessions on brows that were previously done by Brows by MDV.
$150 | 1-3 Months Follow Up Touch-Up must be scheduled within 1-3 months from your last session.
$250 | 4-12 Months Touch Up must be scheduled within 4-12 months from your last session.
$300 | 1-2 Year Touch Up must be scheduled within 13-24 months from your last session.
$350 | 2-3 Year Touch Up must be scheduled within 25-36 months from your last session.
$400 | 3-4 Year Touch Up must be scheduled within 37-48 months from your last session.
$450 | 4-5 Year Touch Up must be scheduled within 49-60 months from your last session.
$$$$ | Anything beyond 5 years will be charged as a new set.

Eyeliner

Whether you prefer a subtle, thin line or a bold and dramatic wing, we will customize the application to your desired style to enhance the natural shape of your eyes. Say goodbye to smudges and smears with our smudge-proof finish, allowing you to go about your day without worrying about touch-ups.
$450 | Lash Enhancement – Lash line enhancement is an ultra-realistic, subtle tattoo placed only in the lash line for a darker edge to your lashes.
$550 | Sleek Liner – Winged eyeliner extends past the lash line with a tiny flick outward to create a wing, enhancing eye shape and size.
$600 | Smokey Liner – The ultimate in flexibility and result, dusty shadow gives the look of eyeliner with a soft application of powder, you can even add a wing.

Fine Line Tattoos
Fine line tattoos are curved and straight lines and represent more of the form and outline in the tattoo. It can still offer details without shade and color.
Also known as small tattoos, fine line tattoos are intended to be as thin as possible, which can make the ink more susceptible to disruption during the healing process. Design, placement, skin type, and after care world also play a role in the healed results of fine line tattoo.
Please note that placement on the palm of hands, fingers, feet, neck, and cartilages generally require several touch ups to achieve the desired retention.
A touch-up is NOT required, but may be needed due to such thin & intricate lines.
